yea he came from a rly weird version of guilty gear that’s schtick was that you could do a 4 player mode with a foreground background, a lot of ppl didnt like it because u had to manually switch your characters position to face backwards or forewards and hop to foreground/background which can be clunky.

me and my friends in high school thought it was dope tho and since guilty gear is 2d insanity the multiple planes of motion made the insanity grow exponentially
